"My work represents a personal mythology based on a contemporary perspective. This includes a combination of drawing, painting, modeling and pottery techniques. Through these I explore social and psychological issues in the form of narratives. These stories involve a variety of characters which might also be viewed as elemental components of a ‘self’ with sub-personalities that interact amidst visuals derived from history and contemporary life. Their drama, often humorous, forms the dominant undercurrent. My aim is to piece together universal aspects of this dynamic."
